As a “northern Toronto” photographer, getting a chance to jump into an Ashbridge’s Bay photography session was a no-brainer. Very few of my clients are from The Beaches and I don’t get down there with my camera nearly as often as I should. After today’s truly splendid afternoon, my husband and I agreed that we will take a walk on the boardwalk at least once a month (if not more!)
I got to spend the afternoon with the McGuffin family at Ashbridge’s Bay Park as we took some family photos. Ashbridge’s Bay is a spectacular area to bring your family; the sand is soft, the playgrounds are plentiful and everywhere you look there’s an ice cream truck or a snow-cone stand!
Here are a few sneak peek’s from today’s session in colour and black & white (I honestly can’t decide which ones I like better – what do you think?)
The kids loved throwing rocks into the water… and when I say ‘love’, I’m not exaggerating one little bit! I’ve never seen two little, itty bitty kiddies go so crazy for rocks and water! Their dad was telling us how they play t-ball now… I guess all that practice pitching is helping with their rock throwing, too! Luckily for me, they took a moment to sit down and catch their breath so we could snap a beautiful family shot.
Stay tuned for the full session!
